Wonderful memories pouring in this week from around the world. Still don't have final numbers, but it's the five or six people we each met and became friends with this week that matter much more than the total. Some comments:
- I was almost brought to tears by this lady who was over the age of 80 who did this session on Yiddish songs, and then in the next session, I went to a young girl, a madricha from a youth movement, who did a session on Israeli songs in the youth movement shironim. This was incredible. Something beautiful.
- I had the BEST time, people are telling me that I sound really "up".
- A huge thanx for a wonderful conference.
- Congratulations on a truly excellent Limmud!
- Congratulations on a fabulous conference! It was great to be involved in.
- Sorry I didn't make Limmud this year, but I've heard from many people how good it was. I did send my aunt along for her first time, and she has since told me that she is so glad she went and she had an absolutely amazing time. For her to say that, this year must have really been exceptional. Her feedback has inspired my whole family, and we all intend to go next year!
- I would like to express to you all, once more, my heartfelt thanks. I arrived on Monday morning as a presenter and departed Wednesday evening, much richer, with the many generous gifts given to me at Limmud.
