WELCOME TO THE WORLD

Hello to Sigal Elisheva/Bettina Wolfson, born three weeks ago to Danielle Wolfson (and Jonathan too, but I think she deserves top billing). Mazeltov to them, Naftali and Eliana. (Danielle is chairing chavruta with Eloise Gluckman, and Jonathan is on the team - appropriately their theme is 'creation'.)

And mazeltov to Julia Goldstein in the office ... she and Moshe Braun got engaged last Friday.

Painting, photography, sculpture, video - it's a space for all ages and levels. Exhibit, enjoy and sell your work. Incredible prize to our panel's voted 'Best Entry', of a month's stay in a new studio and gallery space based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Want to bring your work (or know someone who might)? - FASHION SHOW

The Limmud Fashion Show ... who'd have thought it!? We are looking for clothes! And lots of them. And accessories for men, women and children. If you know a retailer/wholesaler/designer/fashionista who might supply or get involved we would love to hear from you. (It's also a chance to publicise the business and even sell your products at Conference.)

Fast-filling with lots of interesting stalls and we want as many organisations and businesses as possible to be a part of it (so many leave it too late each year). Booking available for the whole period, or for individual days.

EXTRA, EXTRA - WRITERS, DESIGNERS, PHOTOGRAPHERS CALLED FOR

We're producing a daily Conference newspaper - features, articles, quotes, photos etc. Sent to press overnight and ready for in time for breakfast. NUMBERS

Just about 1,200 at the moment, and some areas are getting full (particularly for younger children), which means that we may need to waitlist or come up with alternative arrangements.

Please apply if you haven't. We're earmarking some financial assistance for volunteers - it's so important that after all this work the cost doesn't prevent any of us from being there. If you want to talk it through then please call me directly or the office.
