It's a quarter of the way through the Limmud year and a great deal has been going on in the background. Although may roles haven't kicked off yet, it's good to see the number of volunteers who are ready to make Limmud 2007 a success - thanks for being one of them.
The Conference Steering Group got together for a training and planning weekend which gave us a much clearer idea of the work that needs to be done, and you may have seen the JC interview with Alicia Zur-Szpiro with the insight that we were made very welcome in Brighton.
We've split into teams, each chaired by a member of the Steering Group. We've spoken to most (but not all) volunteers and put names against many of the roles.
The Steering Group will meet again on 22nd April and there will be lots more to say just after that meeting.
Meanwhile - if you need your appetite whetting and you don't know about Taste of Limmud, go to iwantatasteoflimmud[at]limmud.org and register for weekly instalments of brilliant (and alternative) Torah commentary from some of the stars in the Limmud firmament.
