Email no 4 - 22 May - we're on the move, and volunteers' event details

(This email was a messy attempt at attractive formatting which I can't reproduce here - we quickly went back to plain text.)

It's almost Shavuot - so time for an update.

Pack your bags...

Elliott Goldstein's email last week announced that Limmud Conference is on the move to Warwick.  You'll remember that we set up a site team chaired by Dan Lavin earlier this year.  His group looked hard at several options (including Nottingham of course) and Warwick came out on top.  It has some great spaces, is easy to get to and just feels like home.  I think it will be a terrific venue for us.  We've put some FAQs on the website here, but to find out even more, come along to the volunteers' event (below).

Volunteers' event

We would like to invite you to a Limmud Conference Volunteers event 6.30pm, on Sunday 3rd June at the The Adelaide, 143 Adelaide Rd, London, NW3 3NL, followed by a buzzing social from about 8.30pm.  Feel free to bring friends and families and anyone else who might be interested in helping out at some point in the next few months.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to be amongst the first to hear details of our move to Warwick University.  We're thrilled about the venue and this will be a chance for you to find out more about what the site offers us (and all the work that needs to go in between now and December).

We will have the opportunity to find out what has been achieved by the teams so far (including the first presenter acceptances) and discuss what we need to do to create an exciting Conference to remember.

Moving to the new site means many new challenges for us, new volunteer positions and gives everyone the chance to offer fresh thinking and support.

If you don't already have a specific role on the Conference Team we would love to hear about your interests and talents that will help make this year's Conference special.

You will find a list of some of the roles that you can be a part of if you follow this link.

If you have any questions about this event or need to know anything about volunteering please let me know.

(And if you're based outside London, we're thinking of having a volunteer event in Manchester - what do you think?)

We look forward to seeing you.

Chag Shavuot sameach
