Alyaa works in project research and development at the Lokahi Foundation ,where she has been since August 2008. Gerard Edery is a leading musical folklorist, master singer and guitarist, as well as a winner of the Sephardic Musical Heritage Award. His recent work highlights the ways in which disparate cultures overlap, parallel and borrow from one another. Gerard has 12 CD releases and a critically-acclaimed Sephardic Song Book.

Executive director of the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, the country's leading human rights organization, supported by the New Israel Fund. Hagai served as the first executive director of Jerusalem's Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community center, the Open House. Born in Haifa, Hagai was a pre-doctoral fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, enjoys orienteering, biking, and writing. Hagai has been brought over to the UK by the New Israel Fund for Limmud Conference.

Estelle Eugene worked as an administrator for Yakar for many years and was exposed to a wide spectrum of the Jewish community. She founded Yoga Mosaic, an association for Jewish yoga teachers in the early nineties, holding regular seminars and offering a register of teachers for the local community.
