Skills for Cash - Silent Auction
For the first time we are running a Skills for Cash auction at Limmud Conference in 2007. The concept is simple - you have a skill, someone else will want it 2008 so they can pay for it now with a donation to charity. Loads of great opportunities have already come in - look at the list below for inspiration! If you want to offer a skill or to bid for one below, just leave details of your skill or bid together with your contact details on our signup page, and one of the Tzedakah team will get back to you.
During Conference we will be taking bids throughout at the Tzedakah hub in Limmud café so make sure you come round regularly to check how it's going. Most importantly, at 18.30 on Wednesday 26th December we will be taking the last bids in the Limmud Café and matching those who've won with those who've taken part. This is between sessions so you have no excuse but to be there and see Limmud history in the making. We want to raise over £1,000 from the Tzedakah projects this year but we can only do that with your help!

Please note: Any lot successfully auctioned on Limmud Conference 2007 must be paid for by 21/01/2008 otherwise it will go to the next highest bidder. Once lots have been auctioned successfully it is completely the responsibility of the 'giver' and 'bidder' to organise dates of mutual convenience during 2008 towards realising the lot. Limmud cannot take any responsibility for lots that aren't delivered or actioned upon and lots are valid until 21/12/2008. Lots are received in good faith and all proceeds from the Skills for Cash Silent Auction will go to Limmud Conference 2007's four chosen charities: the UJIA, Chai Cancer Care, Yad Eliezer and Beth Shalom Holocaust Memorial Centre.
