Festie family fun

Parents Relax!

Fest is ideal for families of all sorts and we've thought of everything we can to make your family's Fest a fun and memorable experience for all ages.

Whilst parents indulge in all Fest has to offer, their children will enjoy lively activities based around games, music, books, art, crafts, theatre, circus skills and storytelling to keep them busy and enthralled all day long. All of this will be led and supervised by the caring, well-trained staff of Young Fest or the Nursery.

When children's supervised activities finish for the day at around 4pm, there will be lots of family entertainment and activities to experience with your children. That's if you can get them to leave the amazing adventure playground right on your doorstep (or tent flap).

Babies and under 4s

The Nursery is a safe, fun place for our youngest Festies to dance, play, sing, create or enjoy a hug and a nap. The nursery is managed by fully qualified staff, along with a team of volunteer helpers. Children are divided into groups within the nursery according to age.

What else?

Like all Fest participants, families have a choice of indoor and outdoor accommodation. Family camping will be in the designated family field. This will ensure that there is enough space for a run around as well as the peace and quiet for your family’s bedtime routine. Indoor accommodation for families is located very near to the family camping field.

At bed-time we will have ‘Laila Tov Time’ mini sessions with chill-out singing and a bedtime story!

All Fest food is home-cooked by our caterers, there will be enough on offer for everyone, a good choice for fussy ones and purees available for weeny weaners.

To make your Limmud Fest experience as easy as possible there will be high chairs, changing mats and baby baths available. In the evening, there will be babysitting for all the under 11s, leaving plenty of time to partake in adult fun too!

New this year - We have a lovely adventure playground, football pitch and basketball court so any excess energy can be used up before bedtime.
