Accommodation

The majority of participants come for the whole of Limmudfest and can choose to stay in or outdoors. However as a trial this year, we are offering adult participants the option of coming as a day participant on the Sunday only.

Camping outdoors

Experience the joys of camping and save money! There are plenty of indoor showers and toilets provided for campers. We offer airbeds and tents for hire (please book before 8 August) and don't worry if you are a new happy camper, there will be someone on hand to help you put up your tent.

There are three camping areas:

Camp Mishpacha for families (babysitting services provided),

Camp Sheket for those who would appreciate peace after midnight and

Camp Balagan for everyone else.

Accommodation indoors

The rooms at the college are comfortable, clean and functional with shared shower and bath facilities, though places are limited.

Rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so book now if you would like to stay indoors, particularly if you want a single room as places are limited. Don't worry if you are coming on your own as we will try to find a shared room with similar people.

Accessibility for all

Most session rooms, the communal dining room and specific accommodation rooms are  suitable for wheelchairs. However there is a steep incline to some of the session rooms, which makes them harder to access.

We endeavour to provide as comfortable an experience as possible for everyone, so if you have access issues, please indicate on your application form and if you have any questions please e-mail office@limmud.org

Sunday only day participation

Participants may attend on Sunday 24 August. The reservation will include all food and sessions but no accommodation and participants are asked to be off site by midnight.
However, please call the office if you would like to camp overnight.

New for this year: creative bursaries

We want to set your creativity free. Do you have an idea for a tent, a space, a theme, a project to bring to Fest? This could be a massive sculpture or a Philosopher's Café, Chi Tea Tent, Rent-a-Rabbi or a Garden of Eden. If it's fun, interactive and different then you may well be suitable for a small Creative Bursary to help you along the way. We can fer a limited number of small bursaries to fund your scheme. To apply call the office on 020 8458 7965 or e-mail fest08-programming@limmud.org
