We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers with the following skills and experience to help us write this current chapter in Limmud’s story.
About You
You would reflect Limmud’s values through the following behaviours and qualities:
- Commitment to carrying out agreed responsibilities and producing the expected outputs
- Commitment to working collaboratively and transparently with other Limmud volunteers and staff
- Respect the confidences of other Limmud participants, volunteers, and professionals, recognising when information should be kept confidential, and ensuring information that can/should be shared is done so appropriately
- Able to act with accountability and recognise their own limitations
- Desire to continue developing skills as a Limmud volunteer and in relation to the team they are part of
- Commitment to supporting Limmud volunteers and taking part in Limmud events (including volunteer training and social events)
You would have the following Limmud-related experience and knowledge:
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Limmud values and purpose
- Experience of Limmud events as a participant or volunteer, particularly in the UK
You would have or be willing to develop the following skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to think strategically, creatively and long-term
- Able to empower volunteers, building and supporting teams
- Able to constructively challenge and criticise for the benefit of the organisation
- Able to delegate effectively
