Webinar on facilitating conversations about the refugee crisis in Europe

Limmud and HIAS – a global Jewish humanitarian NGO whose mission it is to protect and assist refugees – are partnering once again to invite you to a webinar session with Rachel Grant Meyer, Rabbi-in-Residence at HIAS. Through an interactive conversation, she will share how the refugee shabbat and seder experience can be brought into the home, providing practical guidance on select exercises from the Refugee Shabbat Resource Guide and the HIAS Haggadah. We will also discuss whether we need a framework of Jewish holidays to address these issues, and what are some practical advantages and limitations of such an approach.
