Location and getting to Festival
Limmud Festival will be taking place by Pendigo Lake, near Birmingham, UK.
There are many options for getting to Festival:
Limmud Coach
We can offer several options for travel to/from Festival by coach.
- Friday 23 December: Limmud coaches will depart on Friday morning from Golders Green, Edgware, Borehamwood, Stanmore, Finchley Central, Victoria (Central London), Heathrow Airport, Leeds and Manchester.*
- Sunday 25 December: Limmud coaches will depart on Sunday morning from Golders Green, Edgware, Borehamwood, Stanmore, Finchley Central, Victoria (Central London), Heathrow Airport, Leeds and Manchester.*
- Wednesday 28 December: Return coaches departing Festival to Golders Green, Edgware, Borehamwood, Stanmore, Finchley Central, Victoria (Central London), Heathrow Airport, Leeds and Manchester on Wednesday morning*
Each coach is £33 per person one-way, this includes an amount to enable us to carbon-offset the journey. Coach options can be booked via the application form. If you’ve already booked your Festival place and now want to purchase a seat on a coach, please email participantcare@limmud.org.
*Please be aware: All coach are available subject to demand. Limmud reserves the right to cancel coaches if there are insufficient bookings. Please book your coach places early to avoid disappointment.
Public Transport
Festival is within easy walking distance of Birmingham International train and coach stations. Please note that public transport will not be running on Sunday 25 December and with a heavily reduced service on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 December.
If you are coming by train, we recommend you check the National Rail website for updates on planned engineering works and any strike action that could affect services to and from Birmingham International Airport.
We highly recommend that participants organise their arrival and return journey in advance of attending Festival.
Driving
Pendigo Lake is conveniently situated near the M6 and M42, making the drive simple from either the north or south. Parking is available on-site at the Hilton hotel.
Ride Share
Carpool
Limmud is hosting a Carpool site for people who are looking for a lift to Limmud or have a spare space in your car. To access the site, please email office@limmud.org
