We’re delighted to offer a fantastic range of childcare services at Limmud, including full-day care in the Crèche and YTL, Hallway Hub (Baby Listening), and our Night Club, ensuring that your little ones are looked after most of the day. We kindly ask that you do not leave your younger children unattended at any other time, as Limmud cannot take responsibility for their supervision outside of these sessions. Please remember that children in spaces such as the Family Lounge and Dining Room must always be accompanied by an adult.
Limmud accepts that children part of Teen Limmud (ages 12+/School Year 7) can be left unattended including with permission able to signing in and out of our Teen programme themselves, but we do ask that the responsible adults does still know where the young person is.
- Responsibility for Supervision: I agree to take full responsibility for supervising my child(ren) outside of Crèche and YTL hours.
- No Unattended Children: I will not leave younger children unattended at any time, as Limmud cannot take responsibility for their supervision outside of organised childcare sessions. Limmud accepts that children part of Teen Limmud (ages 12+/School Year 7) can be left unattended including with permission are able to signing in and out of our Teen programme themselves, but we do ask that the responsible adults does still know where the young person is.
- Family Spaces: I understand that children in spaces such as the Family Lounge and Dining Room must always be accompanied by an adult.
- Respect for Spaces: I will ensure my child(ren) respect the spaces and activities provided for all participants at Limmud.
- Our Vomiting and Diarrhoea protocol: To prevent the spread at Limmud Festival, I understand that Adults can only re-join communal Festival areas (sessions, public spaces, dining hall etc) 24 hours after the last instance of vomiting and/or diarrhoea symptoms. Children can only re-join YTL or Nursery 48 hours after the last instance of vomiting and/or diarrhoea symptoms (in line with most school/nursery policies). Catering staff must stay away from communal and kitchen areas for 48 hours after the last instance of vomiting and/or diarrhoea symptoms.
Parent Agreement for Hallway Hub (Baby Listening) Service at Limmud Festival
The Hallway Hub (formerly Baby Listening) is a safety service offered on Sunday-Tuesday evenings in the family section of the hotel. Our Limmud volunteer team will be stationed in the corridors and are primarily there to assist in emergencies, including helping to evacuate children if a fire alarm occurs. As they are already present, they will contact parents if they hear crying or other significant disturbances from the rooms. Please note that the Hallway Hub is not a childcare service. Parents are responsible for their children at all times and should respond promptly when contacted by the Hallway Hub. This option is available for children 0-11 years old, and you need to opt in to this service for each of your children.
By using the Hallway Hub Service, I agree to the following:
- I will settle my child before leaving them in the care of the baby listener.
- I will inform the baby listener when I leave my child in their care by signing out with them.
- I understand that in the rare event of a fire alarm, I will meet my child at the Hilton fire assembly point.
- I will remain contactable via phone all evening in case the baby listener calls and my child needs resettling.
- I will return by 23:00 at the latest to relieve the baby listener.
