Well being and Spirituality
What does Judaism say about our mental, physical and spiritual well being? This track offers insight into Judaism without text study, and thinks about spirituality in relation to our minds and bodies.
From the hottest Israeli acts to the catchiest Klezmer, we have an array of talented performers at Limmud for your entertainment. In recent years, alongside music, our performance programme has featured drag kings and queens, stand up comedy, and one-woman performances of biblical dimensions.
Science and Technology
Explore the contributions Jews around the world are making in technology, medicine, business and science that help us engage with the world around us, and further our understanding of how they impact our modern Jewish lives.
Whether you like a calm walk around Pendigo Lake, an afternoon of arts and crafts, a night of Open Mic or a dance at a disco, you’ll find something to help you unwind and meet new people.
Torah and Philosophy
Delve into the sacred texts that form the bedrock of our religion and engage anew with the thoughts of generations of sages and philosophers. This track aims not only to showcase the treasures of the religious Jewish tradition, but also to participate in it and enrich it with fresh, meaningful insights.
Our daily book club provides a chance for all book lovers to meet, chat and share insights. Dealing with one novel a day, we will discuss our favorite extracts, characters and theories – for both those who have already read the book and those who haven’t but would like to find out more.
