Welcome to YTL!
Young and Teen Limmud (YTL) is one of the most exciting parts of Limmud Festival which caters for children aged 4–11 (Young Limmud) and 12–17 (Teen Limmud). Every year, parents and children agree that YTL is a fantastic experience, so come and find out for yourself!
YTL runs from Sunday- Thursday during Festival, and each year group enjoys a variety of sessions run by experienced presenters on a huge range of topics, from Challah-baking to music making. There are also Peulot (activities) lead by their Madrichim/ot (leaders) who have been specially trained for this role. YTL eat lunch in their own child-friendly zone, before continuing with an exciting afternoon programme.
Teen Limmud aims to inspire the next generation of Limmud by focusing on leadership and other important skills whilst having loads of fun along the way. Teen Limmud allows older participants freedom to split their time between YTL and Main Festival.
YTL is run entirely by volunteer Madrichim/ot from a range of diverse backgrounds, who are essential in making YTL a fantastic experience for all. Each year group consists of a Rosh as well as several Madrichim. They are supported by the Welfare Chairs, Live and Logistics Chairs and YTL co-chairs.
