Limmud Young Leaders Programme 2026
The Limmud Young Leaders Programme (YLP) offers a unique, subsidised pathway for emerging leaders aged 20 – 32 to immerse themselves in the magic of the Limmud Festival, for just £150.
You’ll join a diverse, cross-communal cohort with space to be creative, aspirational and empowered.
The programme engages you in exploring and thinking about your Jewish identity while also developing transferable skills. Through a series of sessions and workshops; from exploring your vision of community and current place in Jewish life to creating ideas for change in your communities. Sessions are designed to bring together reflection and practical steps that take you beyond Limmud Festival. You’ll connect with other Jewish leaders, learn more about what you care about, and see how Limmud can support you to make an impact. Through the YLP, you will gain not only the skills, but also the confidence to take ownership within your own Jewish communal spaces across the UK.
The YLP is designed to enrich the broader Festival experience. Beyond structured spaces, participants are integrated into the heart of the festival through the Yad volunteer programme, contributing to the event’s success through volunteer shifts. This blend of curated programming and hands-on service ensures that every leader leaves Limmud with a deeper sense of direction, a stronger network, and a lifelong connection to a global Jewish communityof learning
With up to 75 participants, the YLP includes two hours of bespoke programming per day. It will be structured through a combination of more intimate mentor-led sessions, alongside whole group sessions.
If you’re offered a place on the Young Leaders Programme you will be able to:
- Attend Limmud Festival for just £150 as a full participant from Friday 25th December to Wednesday 30th December. This includes access to 100s of sessions on everything from comedy to text study, to music, to politics – from the world’s best Jewish educators and performers.
- Meet brilliant people from across diverse Jewish communities around the world.
- Contribute meaningfully to the running of Festival as part of our volunteering programme, committing to volunteering for 10 hours total across the event, in an area of your choice.
- Be part of a dedicated programme of sessions each day to meet, learn from, and network with other young Jewish leaders. This will include 2 hours of programming each day for the delegation.
- Your subsidy is based on a shared room. You can share a name of a preferred roommate when you sign up to Festival. If you’d like a single room, you’ll need to pay the difference yourself.

What’s the application process?
You can apply for the programme below. Please apply for the programme before signing up to Festival. If you are accepted on to the programme, you will receive a discount code for your place and can then sign up. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The deadline for applications is Sunday 25th October at 23:59.

I am not sure I really feel like a leader, can I still apply?
Yes! We’re looking for people that care about the future of the UK Jewish community and not just people in formal leadership positions. The programme is created for people with diverse backgrounds and doesn’t assume any knowledge – the aim is for you to learn more about what your leadership could look like, find ways to activate it, and build a network to support you.
I am super keen but can’t quite afford it.
No problem! Please fill out the Access Fund section of the form when you sign up to Festival and you’ll be contacted by our team responding to your request. We’re keen for finances to not be a barrier to entry.
