“Shir ha-Ma’alot” (A Song of Ascent, Tehilim 126) is one of the best-known and most cherished Jewish melodies. It alludes to the steps which our ancestors once climbed leading towards the Temple, and which left them “as dreamers”, filled with joy and laughter. The song still inspires us as we ascend over the coming weeks, one day at a time, towards the High Holidays. Will you accompany us in this journey? Where will your next step take you?
