Natalie is raising funds for the Limmud Access Fund by taking part in Maccabi GB’s Dancing Strictly on November 2nd 2025.

Natalie’s story: A New Day will Rise, dancing shoes, sparkles and a Viennese Waltz
Two opportunities collide: Opportunity no.1: the opportunity to raise money for Limmud, an organisation that has been transformative in my life, giving me community, learning, connections – and a wife! We all know that it can be expensive to come to Limmud and that’s what the Access Fund is for – so that Festival is accessible to everyone – please give for that purpose.
Opportunity no.2: to dance – and specifically, to learn how to ballroom dance for the first time in my life! Maccabi are organising a new annual event, in which volunteers raise money for 12 different Jewish charities of their choice. So after just a handful of hours of lessons (!!), I’ll be (attempting to) Viennese Waltz my way around the Arts Depot stage on 2nd November.
Finally, in honour of my family and friends in Israel and their resilience and strength in never giving up on the hostages, I have chosen to dance to A New Day will Rise, Israel’s entry to the Eurovision this year, and am wearing blue and white.
